I believe at this point that the actual node may be defective and it is what is causing my issues.I’ve been asked a couple of times recently about adding cover art to video files. So I am unable to determine whether the factory reset worked to clear the index, because it is completely unresponsive now.Īgain, I've been more than willing to put in the time and effort to make this work up until this point, but this frustration is just no longer worth it. Now after the factory reset, and creating a new index, the controller is super slow, and initially showed my library as having been indexed, but now says "indexing, undefined songs processed. I tried a complete factory reset of the node because my suspicion is that the controller is not overwriting the index no matter what I do. Spent 2 hours trying and re-indexing a single folder and could not get anything to work. Re-indexing, rebuilding, removing local share - Spent entire weekend resizing photos to be 600圆00 and less than 600kb. It seems like my index does not change regardless of the steps I take. In some cases I could tell by the file size they were probably not jpgs but re-named as such. Ive tried completely new cover art files. I have tried everything you mentioned here. I'm willing to put in the work and do what it takes to get the art to display, but it seems like no amount of effort will fix this thing. The Reload artwork does not seem to do anything either. re-index seems to pick up new music that I upload, but does not seem to do anything with the artwork. It almost seems like once the initial image is created initially its there for good. Even after resizing my entire library to sub 600k files (a process that took me many hours) the artwork situation did not improve even after reindexing, deleting the share etc. It seems to me that rebuilding the index for me is doing nothing. However I later removed the metadata and the image stayed in the song data even after re-indexing etc. Thought it might be a permissions issue so I deleted the folder completely and re-created with new directories, uploaded completely new art, resized, embedded the art in the metadata, deleted the local share, After 2 hours one albums started displaying the art in the song data (I assume this was from embedding the files). I spent 2 hours yesterday making changes to a single folder trying every suggestion here as well as some of my own. Its becoming clear that this is a long standing issue and given that I see the same threads over and over, they do not seem interested in fixing the issue. #Mp3tag add cover art trialThe trial has 100 free fixes and is available for many computing platforms.Įdit…using a USB memory stick means Bluesound indexes on inserting and then trashes the USB index on removal, so nice and easy / quick. It’s very powerful so best to work on a copy of your library. If you are still struggling I strongly suggest trying the program called Bliss, it works on many platforms and has automated my library for updating artwork. Should the artwork not appear make sure it’s a genuine jpg that you used (try using a totally different pic) and try the reload artwork. Reindex is only for when you add new material.Ĭover.jpg takes precedence over any other artwork, max physical size should be 600kb. If you make any metadata changes you must use the rebuild index in the Bluesound app by navigating to Help…Diagnostics…Rebuild Index. The album can be popped onto a memory stick and easily moved from a computer to your Bluesound’s USB port for quick testing. At this point only work with a single Album otherwise you will spend time indexing. Closing down the Bluesound app is a good idea. Remove your library and make sure nothing is shown in the Bluesound app. Hi Chad, artwork of your own music library can seem an impossible task but once you get the knack / know how it’s easy.
